Williams is one of the largest bars in Uptown. It is multiple levels, with pool tables, free popcorn, and they are the only peanut bar (free) I know of (although you are limited to the basement if you choose to partake in these tasty morsels). Its usually packed later in the week and on the weekends, which makes it a little hard to get a drink, but if you head back to the pool tables, a waitress might be by soon.

They also usually have a beer tub when you walk in. Music is usually top 40 and more mainstream. During the summer they have a small outdoor patio along the sidewalk great for people watching. The crowd is usually well-hipply dressed and 22-28 years old. For any night, Williams is a safe bet because they are almost always packed and one of the best spots to play pool in uptown.

Uptown Shyna... get a life. I am from Edina, graduated from Saint Thomas, live in Uptown and can recognize what they are saying. It's people like you who think everybody is jealous of them that makes places like Williams filled with people like you SUCK! Why don't you go to BLB and see how many people are jealous of you?! LOL.

Williams's reputation as halfway between a frat bar and a yuppie hangout belies its fantastic beer list, which puts more than a few ritzier uptown establishments to shame. The prices aren't great but $3 US beers on Wednesday can't be beat. It's a fantastic deal, but you can probably ignore Williams for the rest of the week and not lose any sleep over it.

Max Super, Rayla, you don’t have to hate on main stream people just because they punked on you in high school. Sounds like you might be a bit jealous, otherwise why so much animosity? I live in uptown, but am from the suburbs (PLY). I can see why you feel that way, but jealousy is a weak emotion, you gotta overcome that you feeble hipster bitch! Everybody pities the weak, jealousy; well you have to earn that. I would think being really cultured and educated you would have better things to do than bash bros/douches, guess not, go to BLB clown

Douche Bags and Oompa Loompa Yuppies who just got off work from Target Corp feed off eachothers "Awesomeness" and True Religion and Ed Hardy at this joint. Ugh.

Good bar for pool and darts (although 2 bucks a game if you've got any kind of skill is bullshit). Good sized beers, for a reasonable price. Only problem is the people that frequent it. It's full of "Chads" or "Tods" as I like to call them (universal term is yuppy douchebags from Eden Prairie who cab there). Basically elitists who don't even know elite, trying to show off their nice shirts and money and trying to find whores. 3 stars for the fine establishment, -2 for the cockmasters who frequent.
