Uptown Minneapolis gets another thai restaurant, Roat Osha, the upscale sister restaurant to Tum Rup Thai, another Thai restaurant by the same owners.
Like Tum Rup, Roat Osha is sleek, modern, and comfortable, with dark wood booths accented by Thai decor. However, in contrast to Tum Rup, Roat Osha has a large bar area and lounge opening up to a brand new, large, semi-private patio complete with cobblestones and umbrellas. Music caters to the crowd off the XM Radio.
Roat Osha is sure to be getting an uptown lounge scene going in the late night, with their late night happy hour, great specialty drinks, and a relaxed bar crowd.
Roat Osha features a fully authentic menu (entrees $10-18) with a Minnesotan twist, like green curried walleye. Also available as take-out.
Parking: Free Lot with lots of spaces!
Kitchen: Full Menu until 10pm Su-Th, 11pm F-Sa. Appetizer menu available until 12am for late night happy hour.

Their Won Ton Soup is incredible. We go there just for that, but get much more. Food is great. Love it!

Great happy hour! Level 5 spice (the hottest) wasn't that spicy. The quality of the food was very good. Vegetables and meat tasted fresh. The calamari is delicious!

Wow, the food here is sooo... good! Try one of the curries, I especially like the red curry. Also, if you like sitting in the bar I hope you get Bev, she is the best!

Excelent service, great food and cheap drinks. What else can you say, best restaurant/bar in uptown.
