Herkimer Brew Pub is exactly the type of place we would love to own…A nice, usually full, but never packed, micro-brewery located in one of the hippest neighborhoods in Minneapolis. We like the food best! Try the “Herkiburger�? ($8) if you really want a treat. They also offer several different beer choices (all their own) and their own brew of energy drink, Triple Caff. Most of their brews are pretty good, and multiple seasonal offerings are always changing.

The crowd is varied age and dress, but most are in their mid 20’s to early 30’s. They place easy listening music; rock’n’roll, pop, and a mix of other genres are chosen by the bartenders. They also have a small sidewalk patio that is nice for summer happy hours. We also like the service at Herkimer’s; the help is friendly and quick without bothering you. So next time you are looking for a good beer in Uptown, get some friends together and head down to Herkimer’s, we are sure you’ll enjoy it.

Note: The Herkimer is a Packer bar and has Shuffle Board!

I frequent the Herk quite a bit but seriously the beer sucks. Love micros, brewpubs, all types of beer and I can't understand why everyone of the Herk's offerings are terrible. Make no mistake this is a widely held view.

This place is great. The personal cheese fondue rocks my world. The homemade brews are pretty good; not the best but good. The burgers are delicious. My favorite sandwhich is the Cubano. Try it!

I dont know what beer the other reviewers drink (my guess is they are the assholes that get pissed there are no bottles, and no corona, heineken or MGD) but the beer is excellent, as is the service. The food is barfood, go to Piccalo if you want more. AND. BEST. JUKEBOX. IN. TOWN. always

The ambience is cool, and the shuffleboard is fun. But this place brews its own beer, and it is absolute garbage. Every one of their offerings is trash. Compare the quality at Herkimer to a place like Town Hall, and you'll see what I mean. Just awful beer. They also make their own energy drink, which is about on par with their beer. Food is below average. If you like beer, or even just not having your mouth offended, choose a different locale.
