We have been hearing a lot of good things about the Bulldog. In fact, several people have pegged it as their favorite bar....It is a beer drinkers' wet dream (there are over 20 brands of beer on tap including exotic brews from worldwide and 4 types of Belles) doesn't really seem that special; your typical dress-down neighborhood bar. Beers range from $4-6. However, there is outdoor seating. The patio is fenced in and covered, but it also has heaters that make chilling outside possible for 3 seasons.

The crowd is mixed and many of the patrons play the many games that line the wall. There are also a lot of TV's and although the Bulldog tries to stay away from being dubbed a "sports" bar, it does have satellite TV and shows the big games. The music is played out of the jukebox is typically great hard-rock sounds....

Uptown is fine, but the Bulldog NE is fantastic! I'd give NE 5 stars for sure.

Food not very good and the service was even worse. Better then the NE one!!!!!

Always thought Kelly was great--food isn't the best in town but the beer selection is up there, the Belgians are great. Obviously, if it was that bad of a place it wouldn't be filled practically every night.

I've been a regular of this bar since it opened. The reason I keep going is because of the outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere provided by all staff - particularly Kelly.
