Sweeney's is a popular bar around the Grand Ave crowds. It is a neighborhood bar, the interior is a bit small and elongated, nestled in between several other neighboring businesses. They almost always play classic rock over the stereo. The interior is nicely lit and they have old brick walls, a small fireplace, and wooden booths.
The bar is old antique wood, giving it the appearance of a classic watering hole, however, the best feature of Sweeney's is their patio. It is large, comfortable, and decorated with plants. Big enough to get a table, yet small enough to meet fellow patio-sitters. They also have a pretty good tap beer selection with your standard domestics and usually a handful of specialties that rotate regularly. Great burgers and some of the best wings in town!
