Sen Yai Sen Lek ("Big Noodle, Little Noodle") is a great Thai Restaurant in Northeast Minneapolis. It offers authentic Bangkok street food and sticky rice dishes from Northeast Thailand in two colorful, open rooms. The Star Tribune praised its tightly focused and affordable menu, as being, "unlike anything else available in the Twin Cities."
The bar serves locally brewed Surly Bender and Flat Earth selections as well as traditional Thai beers Chang and Singha. The wine list was handpicked to compliment the heat, sweetness, and spice of the food. They do not offer cocktails at this time, just beer and wine.
Owners Joe and Holly Hatch-Surisook are committed to running Sen Yai Sen Lek on a sustainable model. The restaurant uses organic and locally sourced ingredients and composts all food and paper waste.
