The Saloon is a gay owned and operated dance club, bar and grill in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. The Saloon has evolved and transformed it's space over time with a newly built lounge in the back complete with cozy fireplace. Order something from the extensive Saloon Grill menu to satisfy your appetite or come in during the evening to dance the night away with one of the Saloon's house DJs that keeps the place thumping and pumping all week long. Wonderful bar, great mix of people, vast area to wander around in drunk. And hard mondays are the shizz, good, heavy music, a great change of pace from the vapid pop I hear at most gay bars. Definitely my new favorite watering hole.

This place is alright... sometimes a little trashy... but good cheap STRONG drinks... just pay no attention to the umm homeless guys sneaking in through the patio and dancing up on your friends...

Ahh, The Saloon. It's great, or it completely sucks. Their dance floor, not so great, because the music usually sucks and thus:empty dance floor-or a bunch of really drunk people trying to dance to shitty music. The bartenders and employees absolutely rock. Strong drinks. Friendly service. Always an interesting crowd. Great place for people watching and throwing a few back.

The drinks are cheap and strong. And that's the only good thing I can think of. Other than that I feel the need to bathe myself in lye after just stepping in the place or having one of its many 40-something disgusting, drunk men grope me.

its trashy, but its ok. I go about once a year. But its not as bad as some peeps say. I think you can have fun if ya want
